Closures is on the roadmap for Railo 4.0, fyi

I'm excited. 3.2 should be out soon. I don't know a date for 4.0 but I wouldn't be surprised to see it near year end.

Since getting introduced to closures in JavaScript, I have really wanted them in ColdFusion. I haven't had sufficient depth of understanding to think of a workable CFML syntax for them though. It is nice to see here.

I really hope one (or both!) of these ideas make it into the next version of ColdFusion.
